average stay but comfortable nights
The bed in our Superior Double Room provided excellent support, which I appreciated. The Tesla superchargers were a convenient plus for our electric vehicle.
The atmosphere of the hotel felt a bit overwhelmed by the large party happening .

Partially unusual decoration/equipment in the bars and corridors
Lighting in the room too dark for reading. Despite a large breakfast buffet, no cheese and no sausage/ham. No information on hotel offers (information folder) and on attractions and excursion destinations.

We had a ground floor twin room... It was clean n very spacious
Didn't try the food after reading the reviews we ate at a lovely pub as was the food called the fox n pelican. Did have a drink from the sport bar be warned its not cheap All ground floor rooms have a patio door open onto a walkway which is perfect if you are a smoker unfortunately there are no bins so most the snubs where left on the floor

Family room with double bed + sofa bed. Since the weather was cool and rainy during the Whitsun holidays, we were happy to have a clean and empty swimming pool (20 m lane and with a small spa area). Breakfast as buffet.
Somewhat outdated carpet. Swimming pool quite strongly chlorinated. Although we had booked for three, the room was only prepared for two people, but was then quickly moved into/added to.

The staff went the extra mile for my wife's birthday, prioritizing our room. We indulged in a fantastic massage and enjoyed the indoor swimming pool . I wish the dinner experience had been better, as it was a bit below what we expected, but overall, we had a lovely time! 🎉

The service was excelllent with friendly helpful staff. It was a beautiful location. Great golf course with stunning views. Good food. Good quality confotable accomodation.
I got locked out of the building where my room was, (The wooden Building /family suite). This happened at about 11.30 pm on Sunday night as my swipe card did not work on the door. I had to return to main reception to get it sorted out. Not the best way to end an enjoyable day.

The room was nicely refurbished and clean. The purpose if our stay was for a wedding which was wonderful.
The room was nicely refurbished, however our window was broken so didn't close and the side lamps didn't work. Staying on the ground-floor I didn't feel very safe, especially as the room backed onto the woods. When I brought this up with the hotel the following morning they werent particularly sympathetic.

The golf course is excellent. The scenery is superb. The breakfasts were good. It is a quiet peaceful place for a break, this probably due to the fact there were little or no young children there. The pool was not overcrowded.
A bit intrusive with all the cctv. Silly rules about not taking alcohol or food into your room.We had sandwiches for next days picnic. Were we meant to leave them outside?
